Eric Dane, the hot doctor from Grey’s Anatomy, left the entire world shocked and upset in April this year when he revealed that he had been diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Als). The disease is as rare as it is incurable, and the actor’s condition is slowly but surely deteriorating with time. He has also completely lost the function of his right arm and hand.

During a time like this, it is important for Eric Dane to surround himself with the people he loves, and the people who love him back. However, the romantic part of his personal life has left quite a few people confused, including his partner (s?).

Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart tied the knot in 2004 and went on to have their first daughter in March 2010. The next year, they were blessed with another baby girl.

Eric Dane is continuing to enjoy his social life amid his recent diagnosis with Als.

The 52-year-old Euphoria and Grey’s Anatomy actor was spotted attending a dinner party on Friday night (May 23) at Mr Chow restaurant in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Eric was seen leaving the event with a copy of the book “Mr Chow: 50 Years,” which was released in 2018 to celebrate the iconic restaurant’s 50th anniversary. Also seen in attendance at the event was Sugar Ray frontman and Extra co-host Mark McGrath.

Eric revealed his Als diagnosis to the world on April 10 and said that he will continue filming Euphoria while battling the disease.

Earlier this month, Eric was spotted with his wife Rebecca Gayheart and one day before that, he was seen with former rumored girlfriend Priya Jain.

The 52-year-old actor and the 53-year-old actress were joined by another friend while having lunch at The Lucques Group restaurant on Thursday (May 1) in West Hollywood, Calif.

Photographers noted that Eric left in a car with the friend while Rebecca drove off separately.

One day earlier, Eric was spotted out with his former rumored girlfriend Priya. He was romantically linked to the 27-year-old aspiring actress back in November when they were seen on a dinner date. They were spotted again in February 2025.

It was announced in early March 2025 that Eric and Rebecca decided to call off their divorce, more than seven years after she initially filed. One month later, Eric publicly announced his diagnosis with Als.

The 52-year-old Grey’s Anatomy actor was photographed with Priya Jain, 27, on Wednesday (April 30) in Beverly Hills, Calif. At one point last year, Priya and Eric were romantically linked.

Eric and his wife Rebecca Gayheart split back in 2018 after 14 years of marriage, but it was revealed in March of 2025 that they decided to call off the divorce. Rebecca just gave a recent update on their relationship.

If you don’t know, there is no cure for Als. The Mayo Clinic notes that Als is “a nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. Als causes loss of muscle control. The disease gets worse over time.”
