Jason Hewitt
Jason Shannon Hewitt was born in Muncie, Indiana, on January 23, 1971, the adopted child of James and Barbara Hewitt. He spent his childhood and high school years in Lompoc, California, and was introduced to the theater by his mother who took trips to Los Angeles and New York where Jason was able to able to take in productions of Broadway shows. His first exposure to film and television was showing up as a child extra in the 1978 mini-series "Beggarman Thief" starring Glenn Ford, Jean Simmons, Lynn Redgrave, and Tovah Feldshuh, which was shot in nearby Santa Barbara.

Jason began his college education at Ball State University, and then finished at the University of Miami with degrees in Acting and Psychology, during which time Dwayne Johnson was his work-study partner. Following graduation in 1996, he found an apartment in New York, did an internship, and then worked back and forth between New York and Florida doing film, television, and theater work.

At the end of 1998, he began a ten-year career, with the theatrical producing and general management firms of Cameron Mackintosh, Inc., and Alan Wasser Associates, during which time he worked as a part of a team that presented 20 Broadway shows. Toward the end of his career there, he took time away to be the Assistant Director for the National Tour of Oklahoma! and to serve as the Assistant Production Manager for the 2006 Revival of Les Misérables on Broadway and the 2007 Los Angeles production of Wicked.

In 2009, Jason went on his own to produce a series of Off-Broadway shows, including Sessions, which ran for over a year at the Algonquin Theater in New York-in collaboration with Algonquin Productions. Following on the heels of that were the productions of Unmitigated Truth with Melvin Van Peebles, An Evening at the Carlyle, and National Pastime. In 2010, Jason returned to the stage playing the title role in Frost/Nixon in the first post-Broadway production of the show in New York City. That led to a series of films including The Hereafter Hotline (as Tom Hanks), Wild Nights with Emily (with Molly Shannon), Alt+erred, Betrayal of a Nation, and more.

He has made several appearances on television including "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel", "Billions", "Succession", "City on a Hill", "And Just Like That", "Gossip Girl" and "The Haunting of . . ." (as Morgan Fairchild's husband).
