Neftali Hernandez was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Georgia at the age of ten. He went on to pursue a Bachelors Degree in Psychology at Georgia State University. While at Georgia State University, Neftali became the first Latino Homecoming King in 2011, and was a Founding Brother of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc., Gamma Pi Chapter. After graduating Georgia State University, he went on to the University of Louisville where he obtained his Masters of Education Degree in Counseling and Student Personnel Services.
Initially, Neftali's goal was to open his own bilingual (Spanish & English) private practice as a Psychologist. However, that changed when he was selected as an extra for a feature film. He was absolutely fascinated by the intricacies of the set and the transformation of actors as they immersed themselves in their respective roles. He realized that these actors were real people with real lives. With their gift of acting, they were able to captivate and entertain. This realization stuck with him. From that point forward he decided to pursue acting.
Neftali is also a published author, having made his entry into the world of fantasy literature with his novel, "Dragon's Fire: Rise of the Elementals."
