Biography

    • American-Italian actor Nicolò Pasetti showed his interest and promise in the dramatic arts early on. Growing up in between New York and Berlin, he played lead roles in school plays in elementary school and then went on to study drama at an English boarding school at age 16.

After finishing high school Pasetti was accepted at the prestigious University of Music and Theatre Leipzig and began his professional training as an actor. Pasetti booked his first part in a German art-house film ("Solness"). Other roles in German television and cinema followed.

In 2017 Pasetti was offered to play a part in Mike Newell's screen adaption "The Guernsey Literary And Potato Peel Pie Society" starring alongside Lily James and Michiel Huisman. This is considered to be his breakthrough and it set the path for his ensuing career that has had a primarily international trajectory. Since then Pasetti has worked on American, British, Italian, French, and German co-productions such as "The Queen's Gambit" (Scott Frank), Eagle Pictures' "The Bunker Game", and Bron studios' spaghetti-western TV-show "That Dirty Black Bag".

Due to his international upbringing, Pasetti is a native speaker in three languages (American, Italian, and German). Beyond that, he is also known to be an avid horseback rider, tennis player, author and is said to have an interest in finance.
