Netflix’s highly-anticipated One Piece Season 2 has received a major production update from its stunt crew regarding the current status of the live-action fantasy series’ next installment. This comes after more than a year since the show debuted its first eight episodes on the streamer.

According to the Instagram story shared by one of the show’s stunt crew (via ComicBook.com), production on One Piece Season 2 has reportedly wrapped up, after six months of shooting in Cape Town, South Africa. The said Instagram story featured stunt choreographers Natalie Walsh, Nathan Barris, Shaun Verth, and Mcrae Douglas, with the caption: “Wrap party vibes let’s gooooo.” Walsh also served as lead star Emily Rudd’s stunt double during the first season. Filming for the second season of Netflix’s One Piece Live-Action adaptation has reportedly concluded, with the team celebrating the milestone at a wrap party in Cape Town, South Africa.

While Netflix has not made an official announcement, updates from social media have hinted at the completion of production.

Stuntwoman and actress Natalie Walsh took to her Instagram story to share a picture with fellow stuntmen and choreographers Nathan Barris, Shaun Verth, and Mcrae Douglas.

The photo was accompanied by the caption “Wrap party vibes let’s gooooo”.

The filming for season 2 began in June 2024.

One Piece Live-Action Season 2 will air in 2025, and will cover arcs from Loguetown to Drum Island.
