Ever since I was a young boy, my Mother made sure to teach me how to speak Russian fluently. In later life, I added Chinese to my linguistic arsenal. In an increasingly globalised world, these skills grow more useful everyday. With English, Chinese and Russian being well renowned as the worlds most useful and difficult languages, I'm very proud to speak each to a near native level. However, at around 6 years of age My family had to move to China due to the repercussions of the housing crisis in Ireland in the early 2010s.
With speech and language being of particular interest in my early career, I decided to venture into the world of international voiceover acting! Playing a leading character in a English adaptation of a beloved Chinese film Boonie Bears: A Mystical Winter and Boonie Bears: The Big Top Secret
This experience further cemented my love not only for language, but also wider media, in an effort to further my expertise I featured in some national and international advertising campaigns as an acting talent and model. I then took on a leading role in multiple acclaimed promotion and international advertisement material for Globber and Robosen.
During my time as an actor I did some modelling shoots and was in multiple performances and shows for the Academie of Stars in Singapore.
I got into team sports quite late, as I only first got into playing football at roughly 12 years of age. However since my father was an avid rugby fan, I ended up playing for the Flying Kukris rugby club for a year. It would then be 3 years before I got back into playing football again, except this time it stuck with me. I played at break time with my friends nearly every day. Eventually I ended up playing for my school team in Singapore and then decided to join Borussia Monchengladbach's football club to enhance my skills. I played with them for roughly a year and won the Player of the Month award in the process.
Before I left Singapore I volunteered for the Irish Graduates Association of Singapore as I felt it would be good to help my fellow countrymen before I left the country for good.
A few other fun facts about me! I've visited over 30 nations including Croatia, Morocco, Azerbaijan and Thailand six times. As proof for my resilience in the work force, I have been an avid Manchester United supporter since 2013.
