Sushma Sunam is a renowned celebrity choreographer and director from Gangtok, Tibet Road, Sikkim. Born to Late Dilman Sunam and Mrs. Munna Sunam, she began her journey in the performing arts as an anchor on Zee TV Sikkim's Super Lotto in 2003, and appeared in Sikkimese music videos the same year. She was crowned 1st Runner-Up at Miss Sikkim 2004 and was a finalist in the North East Supermodel Contest 2005. From 2006 to 2008, she worked as a teacher at Zion Kidzee. In 2009, Sushma moved to Mumbai to pursue her dream in the entertainment industry. After two years of hard work and struggle as a background dancer, she got her breakthrough working with renowned choreographers Ganesh Acharya and Master Ji as an assistant choreographer for Bollywood's top celebrities. Over the years, she has contributed to more than 1000 film songs, including blockbusters like Simmba, Welcome Back, Heropanti, Commando, Agnipath, Kill Dill, Singham, Brothers, Ramleela, Padmavat, Brahmastra, Pushpa, Coolie No. 1, Cirkus, KGF, Pagalpanti, Sanju, PK, Dream Girl, Dabangg, Godfather, Govinda Naam Mera, Laxmii, Sooryavanshi, Mimi, and many more. She made her debut as an independent celebrity choreographer with Janhit Mein Jaari, directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa. She also choreographed Ranbir Kapoor's Rupa ad film and songs for Kaagaz 2, directed by the late Satish Kaushik. Currently, she is directing a web series (70% complete) and continues to choreograph for major projects including item songs, music albums, and commercial videos for T-Series, Zee Music, and Sa Re Ga Ma. Her upcoming work includes Vicky Vidya Ka Wala Video starring Vijay Raaz and Mallika Sherawat, an item number with Sunny Leone, and big-budget Nepali film songs. Sushma Sunam remains a powerful force in the Indian entertainment industry, celebrated for her versatility, energy, and creative excellence.
