Lee Priest is an Australian professional bodybuilder. During his school days in Plattsburgh, he was interested in team sports, including American football. The young man also attended karate classes. A little later, his grandfather, who was an army fighter, sent his grandson to a gymnasium located in the police station. The boy liked his grandpa's initiative, and began regularly visit the gym and work with weights. At that time, he was only 13 years old. Lee was small in stature, but had amazing genetics that allowed him to gain muscle mass even at such an early age. At the age of 14, he already stood on the podium of junior competitions and won them, despite the fact that among the competitors there were guys 3-4 years older than him.
His mother was also into bodybuilding, and when the boy was 15, she suggested him to perform on stage together. They succeeded and became the first. They performed in this pair more than once.
His first serious bodybuilding competition was the Sydney Bodybuilding Classic, which took place in 1986. He won this tournament and received his professional card from the IFBB.
The bodybuilder has had many ups and downs on the professional stage. He has repeatedly competed in the main bodybuilding tournament 'Mr. Olympia', but his result has never risen above 6th.
