Image
All the queen’s horses and all the queen’s dogs — what’s going to happen to Queen Elizabeth II’s beloved animals now that she has died?

Queen Elizabeth adored animals, especially horses, cows and, perhaps most of all, her corgis.

The View's Joy Behar Abruptly Ends Interview With GOP Candidate After Heated Exchange — Watch Video
Image
Tensions were high during Friday’s episode of The View, resulting in a swift end to the co-hosts’ interview with GOP candidate Kim Klacik.

As seen in the video below (with a slightly longer version here), Klacik, the current Republican nominee for Maryland’s 7th congressional district, had just finished addressing the coronavirus pandemic when the interview became heated. Klacik asserted that President Bill Clinton’s administration had been responsible for sending biotech and manufacturing jobs overseas years ago, resulting in a lack of preparedness to handle the pandemic in the United States this year.

Los Angeles Downtown Protests Spark Citywide ‘Tactical Alert’ As Portland, Seattle Declared Riots
Image
Update: LAPD now says four individuals were arrested during Saturday night’s protests that resulted in a citywide tactical alert.

Three protesters were arrested for battery on a police officer. One was arrested for possessing a machete and causing a disturbance. A total of four officers and three protesters were treated for minor injuries.

Police concerns mounted at 5:30 Pm, when individuals in the protesters “began to direct physical assaults on officers deployed to facilitate the demonstration, vandalize property, and walk onto a busy freeway,” according to LAPD.

“The Los Angeles Police Department is committed to making certain that Angelenos can exercise their First Amendment rights peacefully, and we cannot allow violence and destruction of property to put anyone’s safety at risk — whether they be officers, demonstrators, or bystanders,” said Police Chief Michel Moore.

CNN’s Lgbtq Town Hall Interrupted By “Trans People Are Dying” Protesters
Update, 7:48 p.m. Pt: CNN’s Lgbtq town hall in Los Angeles was interrupted again by a trans protester, one of several disruptions at the event featuring 2020 presidential candidates.

As CNN’s Don Lemon was on the stage with Beto O’Rourke, a woman who identified herself as Blossom Brown grabbed the microphone and shouted, “Black trans woman are being killed in this country, and you have erased trans women for the last time.”

“Our lives matter. I am an extraordinary black trans woman, and I deserve to be here,” she said.

Lemon took the microphone and responded, “Let me tell you something. The reason that we are here is to validate people like you. That is why we are here.”

She complained that not one black trans woman or man had been given a chance to ask a question during the evening.

Blossom Brown, a black trans woman,...
