Shailik Bhaumik is an Indian filmmaker, inventor & entrepreneur, known for his films Dasein (2015) & Burning Butterflies (2024). Bhaumik is actively involved in film festival curation and digital distribution since 2016. Bhaumik is the inventor of WFCN, a system integration (SI) platform which acts as an online marketplace for film, media, and entertainment industry. Bhaumik is the founder of review aggregation platform Cult Critic. Some notable film festivals curated by him are Calcutta International Cult Film Festival (CICFF), Virgin Spring Cinefest (VSC), World Film Carnival-Singapore, Luis Bunuel Memorial Awards, Tagore International Film Festival, Cult Critic Movie Awards.
