Jay Mehler
Jason "Jay" Mehler (born September 8, 1971) is a musician from Philadelphia, United States.

He is the son of John 'Jack' Mehler of Bucks County (d. 2013) and Judy née Wyatt. He has a sister, Jenna, married to Alan Donatone with two children, Lila and Quinn. He attended high school in Warminster, PA.

During the recording of Kasabian's second album, Empire (2006), Christopher Karloff, one of the band's guitarists and songwriters, left the band due to "creative and artistic differences",and Jay Mehler joined the band. Although he was a permanent touring member, he was not involved with most of the promotional work that the band did. While he is not credited on Empire, Jay plays on the b-sides to the singles released off the album and also features in the video for the song "Empire". He played the guitar with them until 2012.

On March 7, 2013, it was announced that Jay was leaving Kasabian and had joined Beady Eye on bass guitar. Mehler stayed with the band until their disbandment in October 2014.

On 2017/18 he was touring with former Oasis and Beady Eye lead singer Liam Gallagher for his second album "Why Me? Why Not".

Since 2006 he's been dating The Beatles drummer Ringo Starr's daughter Lee Starkey, and in June 2009 they announced they were expecting triplets, who were born later tat year. They are two boys (Jakamo Mehler and Smokey Mehler) and one girl (Ruby Mehler).
