Julia Nolan is a model, actress and the 6th place finisher of Big Brother 17. She has a twin sister named Liz Nolan who she is very close with. She overcame leukemia at the age of 6.

When Julia and Liz were put up on the block together they both were devastated and both were willing to sacrifice their game so the other could go ahead. Julia seeing how perceptions in the house were more favorable towards Liz as a competitor than her sacrificed her game for her sister.
Julia's sacrifice wasn't in vain as Liz managed to survive to the end and came 2nd winning $50,000.
