Jose Prats(II)

José Prats is a Spanish film director and illustrator based in the United Kingdom. Since 2016 he has been working as an illustrator for the renowned British studio Aardman Animations. He's collaborated in the films 'Robin Robin' and 'Chicken Run 2', among others. As a director, he has made several animated and live-action short films. His latest animated work, "Umbrellas", has been selected at the prestigious Clermont-Ferrand festival, has received more than 20 awards and a hundred selections, and is nominated for Best Animated Short Film at the 2022 GOYA Awards. Thanks to a scholarship from the La Caixa Foundation, José finds himself studying the MA in Directing Animation at the National Film and Television School. In parallel to his studies, he is developing the short film projects "Barro", in stop-motion, and "Gas", in live-action.
