November 14 Is a Disappointing Day for Bruce Lee Fans
Image
Time is running out for Bruce Lee fans on Netflix to stream the acclaimed series Warrior. The series is set to leave the streaming platform this month.

Per Netflix, Warrior will depart Netflix on Nov. 14. The bad news goes beyond having the title removed from the platform, as it's also further confirmation that Netflix will not be saving the series after all. When Warrior was added to Netflix this past February, there were hopes in the fan base that the show would pull in enough viewership to have the streamer order a fourth season. Unfortunately, even with a 93% score on Rotten Tomatoes, the show didn't click well enough with subscribers for Netflix to pursue a continuation, coinciding with star Joe Taslim's recent comments that the show was officially finished.

Many great action series feature the best TV show battle scenes, and modern fight choreography has been getting faster and more engaging than ever. Whether they're live-action or animated, these TV series utilize fight sequences that keep the audience guessing and provide plenty of dynamic movements, often making them lauded as the most successful within the action genre. When TV battle scenes aren't accurate to real life, this can take the viewer out of the story, but this isn't the most important piece of an action series. Many audience members aren't familiar with the ins and outs of technical aspects and are most concerned with whether or not the visuals are compelling. Fight scenes don't necessarily...

Jon Stewart’s Timely Political Comedy ‘Irresistible’ Is Ready For Your Vote, Blind Melon Docu ‘All I Can Say’ Debuts: Specialty Preview
Image
In what has been one hell of an election year, Jon Stewart is cutting through all of it with his biting political comedy Irresistible starring Steve Carell, Rose Byrne and Chris Cooper. The Focus Features film was originally set to hit theaters on May 29, but like all films impacted by the pandemic, it pivoted to PVOD and drops today.

Written by Stewart, Irresistible follows a Democrat political consultant (Carell) who helps a retired Marine colonel (Cooper) run for mayor against a Republican rival (Byrne) in a small Wisconsin town. This marks a reunion of sorts for Stewart and Carell, who was a recurring correspondent on The Daily Show between 1999 and 2005. The film is also Stewart’s latest outing as a feature film director. His first pic, Rosewater, was released in 2014 and told the story of Iranian-Canadian journalist Maziar Bahari who was accused and brutally interrogated by Iranian forces for being a spy.
