His performance captured the attention of the Royal Ballet School in London. They immediately offered him a spot in their world-renowned training institution were he studied and trained for two years.
- At 13, Mackenzie was invited to share the stage with Jennifer Hudson, Josh Groban, Kenneth 'Babyface' Edmonds, at the 2014 Carousel of Hope Ball, directed by David Foster.
