    • Ali Fardi is a multilingual actor of Middle Eastern descent, raised in Amsterdam, fluent in Dutch, Farsi, English and conversational in German and Arabic. His work is increasingly recognized on the international stage, having won six Best Actor awards at prestigious film festivals worldwide.

      In 2025, Ali plays one of the leading roles in Running Dry, directed by Hamzah Jamjoom, currently filming on international locations. He also appears in Last Days, a feature film by Justin Lin that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. His rising global profile continues with a role in the (Prime) series The Assassin, directed by Lisa Mulcahy.

      Ali first gained national attention for his standout role in Moroccan Wedding (Netflix), directed by Johan Nijenhuis. He then became widely known to Dutch audiences for his portrayal of 'Walid' in the iconic series Good Times, Bad Times (RTL).
