Ilhan Gokalp

Eli Hanan aka Ilhan Gokalp was born in Istanbul Beyoglu district by a Turkish-Greek father and Egyptian-Jewish mother. Since the age of 12, Eli has been working within the filmmaking and media industry. He has also served as a scriptwriter in several soap operas and theatre plays. After studying Cinematography & Documentary and Factual Filmmaking in the UK, he has worked in many different media outlets. In addition, he was credited as the producer of an International Film Festival winning movie. Furthermore, he has been a senior member of The Broadcasting, Entertainment, Communications and Theatre Union (BECTU) and a Member of Chartered Journalists (MCIJ) since 2006.
