Bruce Davis was employed as a Police Officer for the Oklahoma City Police Department for 27 years. He served as a Police Detective and a Police Lieutenant on The Oklahoma City Police Department; Bruce was a First Responder at the Bombing, on April 19, 1995 in Oklahoma City, of the Federal Building( Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building). He received the Police Departments Certificate of Achievement Award for his actions at the bombing.

Bruce Duane Davis has five siblings and he is the 2nd oldest of the six to be born from Esther and Lloyd Davis. Siblings: Brothers: Karl Byron Davis (1st born) ; Gary Patrick Davis (3rd born) ; Steven Elliot Davis (4th born). Sisters- identical twins: Toni Dachelle Davis (5th born) and Teri Danielle Davis (6th born).

Bruce Duane Davis graduated from and received his high school diploma from John Marshall High School in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. Graduating Class of 1981.
