    • Charles Marinaro, the director and writer of The Factory & Savior, is an avid writer and entrepreneur. He was born and raised in Buffalo, New York to a family richly talented within the arts. A majority of his family were actors and musicians. As a teenager he moved into the Catskills in Monticello, New York. He is the owner and creator of Dream Chasers Inc marketing and self promotion.He also is one of the founders of Transcending Pictures. Charles is also one of the founding directors of The Hudson Valley International film festival set to debut in 2015. Previously he co-owned The Client's Advocate Photography & Self Promotion in Monticello, NY. His ultimate goal is to create a films that make people think and self reflect as well as be entertained.

    • Charles is an award-winning writer, director, actor, and producer raised in the Catskills in the town of Monticello, NY. He has had a passion for writing and the arts since he was able to pick up a crayon. His humble acting career began as he performed in many high school musicals at Monticello High such as Grease, The Sound of Music, and Fame. After high school he graduated from SUNY Sullivan and then furthered his education before opening businesses such as The Client's Advocate: Photography & Self Promotion and Dream Chasers Inc. He later put together a film production company called Transcending Pictures. Within Transcending Pictures, Charles wrote and directed multiple feature length films, short films, commercials, promos, and music videos. Charles won Best Supporting Actor, Best Crime Drama, and Best Picture at festivals for his work in "Savior". He was nominated People's Choice for best of the festival for his work on "The Factory". He became one of the founding members and President of the Hudson Valley International Film Festival that ran in 2015 & 2016 in Monroe, NY. The festival promoted independent productions from all over the world throughout its three day culturally enriching event. For the past 2 years Charles has worked diligently to find a venue and propose the idea of a Catskill International Film Festival. After 2 long years, Charles' work has paid off; this year's opening night movie, "A Line Between All Things," will premiere as the fourth feature film he has directed.

  • Prior to film Charles was an entrepreneur opening up businesses within both the Hudson Valley and The Catskills. The Client's Advocate: Photography and Self Promotion, Dream Chasers Inc, Hudson Valley International Film festival and now The Catskill International Film Festival.
  • His first live performance was in Middle School (Robert J. Kieser) where he played Cher and sang "I got you babe..." for a talent show that was 'Spanning the Decades' to boost moral in the area shortly after September 11th, 2001.
  • In High School (Monticello High School) he acted in such musicals and plays as; Grease, The Sound of Music, Fame and The Crucible.
  • When he was 8 years old until he was 19, Charles along with his two cousins Paul & Alan would create stories and film them with a video camera. The called themselves P.A.C Films given the first initial of each of their names.
  • Charles had 22 full length feature scripts that have yet to be filmed.
