Joel Tugaineyo is a Ugandan Screenwriter/Director/Development Producer/Festival Curator with over 10 years of experience working in the film industry. In Uganda, he was Screenplay Consultant on the Netflix film: 'Girl in the Yellow Jumper' (2021), Festival Curator for 9 editions of the Ngalabi Short Film Festival, and 'Mentor' on European Union funded reality TV Series: 'Opportunities Are Here' (2024). In Nigeria, he wrote and directed the award-winning animated short: 'Professor T.E.E & the Problem Solvers'. In Germany/Ghana, he was the Show-runner on the web-series: 'Yenti-Gyai: Tales from the Blue Bus' (2021) produced by DW Akadamie.
