'We'll See a Side of Cha Hae-in That Isn't So Composed': Solo Leveling Season 2 Gets Hype New Admission
Image
The Japanese-language voice actor for Solo Leveling's Cha Hae-in, Reina Ueda, has revealed more about what viewers can anticipate from her character during the anime's upcoming Season 2, teasing a less "composed" look than what viewers have likely come to expect.

Via Animate Times, anime voice actors Taito Ban (Sung Jinwoo), Reina Ueda (Cha Hae-in), Miyu Tomita (Han Song-Yi) and Chikahiro Kobayashi (Kim Chul) attended a Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- event where they gave some insights into Season 2. Notably, Ueda revealed that her character "has an impressively composed demeanor that seems almost inhuman. I think that in Season 2, we'll be able to see a side of Hae-in that isn't so composed, but has a higher heart rate. In expressing the expressions and inner thoughts that weren't seen in Season 1, it was actually very difficult to be conscious of not making too many changes, while still showing a different side of her."

One of the most popular demographics in anime and manga, shonen has been responsible for some of the mediums greatest hits for many decades. Originally regarded as a manga category that targets young males as its primary demographic and caters to their interests, shonen has long transformed into a broad and diverse genre enjoyed by all ages and genders. Most of the genres classics, from action-adventure epics like One Piece to sports dramas like Hajime no Ippo, are regarded as some of animes best, most inspiring tales.

Even when anime skyrocketed in popularity internationally, shonen remained the mediums leading genre, with many of its hits from the past few decades, such as Attack on Titan and Noragami, already earning the status of modern classics. Yet, the newest generation of shonen anime might be one of the most prolific and multifaceted in the genres history.
