As part of the show’s upcoming ninth season, actors Sullivan Jones, Darone Okolie and Walnette Marie Santiago have joined the cast of “Tyler Perry‘s Sistas,” it was announced on Thursday.
According to Deadline, the newcomers will appear in a recurring capacity with Okolie playing the role of Roc and Sullivan appearing as Dr. Vaughn, both of whom are set as love interests for the sistas. Meanwhile, Santiago will play the role of Nia.
The series follows a tight-knit group of accomplished and relatable women as they navigate the complexities of love, career, and friendship in the modern world, with Season 9 promising even more emotional depth, unexpected revelations, and powerful narratives that have made the show a fan favorite.

A&e and Lifetime have ordered a number of new projects including a new movie starring Precious’ Gabourey Sidibe and renewed shows including Storage Wars.
It comes as the parent company has rebranded as A+E Global Media ahead of its annual Upfront.
Storage Wars is back for its 16th season. The show, which aired Season 15 in 2023, will expand from its traditional half-hours to a one-hour format. The ten-part series, which will air this summer, features teams of bidders on the hunt for valuable abandoned and repossessed storage units and with only a few minutes to see inside, they must decide whether they’ve spotted trash or true treasure that they can turn into big profits. Tyler Perry has set his 2025 TV and film slate at Netflix and it includes two new projects: the film Madea’s Destination Wedding and the TV series, She the People. This is Perry’s second Madea project with the streaming following A Madea Homecoming released in 2022.
