SpongeBob’s arrival came in Episode 6 of the Undead Unluck anime, which aired on Nov. 11. The sponge appeared hilariously blurred when the protagonist, Fuuko, misheard the word "spoil" as "sponge." While the Nickelodeon character's pixelation was likely to avoid any copyright infringement issues, it’s impossible not to recognize SpongeBob even as a pile of yellow pixels.
