She won the Miss Macross 30 contest, and would then debuted as a voice actress and singer, playing Mina Forte in the Macross 30 game and performing the theme songs.

She auditioned for the role in Shirobako in November 2013 and got her first main role as Shizuka Sakaki, but the first main role of hers to air is her role in Soul Eater NOT! as Tsugumi Harudori in April 2014.

During her early childhood, Chisuga took classical piano lessons. During high school, Chisuga decided to become a voice actress and singer after seeing a video of Nana Mizuki performing.
