Nicole Pérez-Yarza

Nicole Pérez-Yarza is a professional Chilean actress with extensive training in various countries. She graduated with a degree in Theatre from Universidad Mayor in Santiago, Chile.
Driven by a desire to continue learning, she enrolled in the prestigious "Matus Actores" acting school, where she completed modules 1 and 2. Seeking new approaches to her craft, she moved to Buenos Aires to study under renowned mentor Nora Moseinco, extending her stay for an entire semester. She later moved to Madrid, Spain, where she studied at the "Tejido Abierto" school with master Jorge Eines. She also completed a master's in on-camera acting at "El Club de Actores" in Barcelona, studying under Virginia de los Salmones and Pablo Silber. In addition to her acting studies, her interest in body language led her to pursue a yoga teaching certification in India, recognized by Yoga Alliance International.
Her work includes the short film "En la frontera," selected for the Fresh Wave 2019 festival in Hong Kong, the web series "Confirmar amistad," the series "Irreversible" on Canal 13, the medium-length film "Esta Noche," and the play "Uñas Sucias," which won the "Fondart" award two consecutive years for a tour of Chile's penitentiary centers. She also performed in the play "7 Franceses" at Teatro Lara, and in the contemporary version of "Romeo and Juliet," directed by Victoria Dipace, playing the character of Friar. In September 2022, she premiered as the lead in the play "Hot Bed" in Paris, France, written and directed by Jessica Serna. She stars in the medium-length film "Dónde se detiene el tiempo," directed by award-winning Chilean director Daniela López, currently in post-production. Her most recent audiovisual work was for the Spanish remake of "Stories to Stay Awake," directed by Paula Ortiz, for Amazon Prime.
She has also appeared in numerous commercials in Chile, Argentina, Spain, Greece, and South Africa. One of her projects was a commercial in Madrid for the Mercedes Benz brand, directed by Anthony Mandler. Another notable project was her appearance in a Pringles commercial aired during Super Bowl 2021.
Nicole has worked with directors like Cristian Galaz on the short film *La estrella alcanzar*, commissioned by the government of Chile to promote reading among children. She is currently part of the English-speaking actor community "The Actors Home," directed by casting director Luci Lenox.
