Biography

Lena was born and raised in Manassas, VA with four younger siblings and a dream to be an actress. After becoming a mother, she laid down that dream to become a registered nurse and provide for her family. Despite this she has never stopped acting. Moving to Pittsburgh, PA in 2016, she found local theaters to perform in and used them as an outlet for her passion to perform. Additionally, she's been able to work on a few small movies in her area and much to her delight they were horror films - her favorite. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Lena found herself a front-line worker in a global crisis. With theaters shut down, she quickly became desperate for a way to fuel her creativity and escape the stress around her. This led to her writing her first novel, Bite Shift, a paranormal romance about a nurse who is turned into vampire and instantly needs to figure out how to handle it all without falling apart. Being published and released in May 2021, Lena fell in love with writing and unable to stop telling the stories inside of her. Meanwhile, she has started a podcast called The Beautiful Dead and continues to work with local filmmakers.
