Mark Fischbach in In Space with Markiplier (2022)

Trivia

Mark Fischbach

Edit
  • His late father was a USAF serviceman, who met Mark's mother while stationed in South Korea.
  • His biological mother is Korean and was born on March 21, 1964. She and her parents were originally North Korea, though they left for South Korea during the Korean War. Little is known about her except what is told by Mark himself in his Draw My Life - Markiplier video. It is known that they are in good relationships, and Markiplier usually visits her during holidays.
  • Mark has gone on record to say that the inspiration for the voice of his character Wilford Warfstache was Jim Carrey's impression of Walter Cronkite from Bruce tout-puissant (2003).
  • Mark's older brother is Jason Thomas Fischbach who prefers to go by Thomas, is an author, writer and artist best known for being the brother of Mark Fischbach, although he makes limited appearances on his brother's channels. He created the comic Two Kinds. Thomas was born in July 28, 1987 in Hawaii and grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio where he since resides. He is a digital artist and is recognized as the creator and author of the popular web comic TwoKinds. As reiterated by Mark, Tom does not like to be in front of a camera - the few times he is seen is due to Mark's pressing for his appearance for the sake of the audience. Despite this, he was featured as Mark has planned, albeit voice-only, in Mark's Orcs Must Die! 2 play through. He has made several small appearances in Mark's live streams, most recently in the Farewell live stream. Before fame, He started drawing when he was 14 and debuted Two Kinds on October 22, 2003. In an amazing trivia, He attended the University of Cincinnati to study radiation therapy. Like his brother Mark, he was born in Hawaii prior to moving to Cincinnati, Ohio. He's older than Mark by exactly 23 months. He also provided commentary for Markiplier's Let's Play of Orcs Must Die 2.
  • He is best buddies with fellow YouTuber and Twitch streamer Ray Narvaez Jr. (now formerly of Achievement Hunter and Rooster Teeth, he left the company on April 17, 2015).
