    • David Matthew Jenkins is an American actor born in Evansville, Indiana. Jenkins dreamed of moving to Hollywood to pursue a career as an actor. Upon high school graduation, he was extended an offer to one of the nation's oldest military colleges on an Army ROTC scholarship and was soon commissioned as an officer in the United States Army. He completed his bachelor's degree from Indiana University, where he also took introduction to drama and acting classes. Following a career move to Hawaii, he began auditioning and doing local commercials. His relaxed Midwestern style soon proved an asset as directors found him easy to work with on camera. Jenkins went to Los Angeles and was cast in the sequel film, Wiener Dog Internationals (2014) by Fromage Pictures, where he played the affable photographer covering the world of international wiener dog racing. Film maker Eric Nemoto then signed Jenkins on to star as Brian, the leading man in Yellow Brick Studios/Island Film Group's comedy, Juniper Lane (2016). Internationally, Jenkins has appeared in Germany as a lawyer in the Katie Fforde made for TV movie series, Ein Haus am Meer (2019). And most recently he appears as Bill Wilson a secret service agent in the sci-fi thriller First Signal (2020). David Matthew Jenkins is the author of the book " Becoming A Great Leader, " How to develop your leadership attributes to better serve others. The self-help genre work discusses numerous techniques for leaders and Jenkins talks about his many experiences leading people. He lives with his family in California.
