Mitchell Vincent Slan was born and raised in Austin, TX with an undying love for the horror genre. After graduating with a BFA in Acting at Texas State University, Mitchell dedicated himself to writing and directing horror films for the next three years after only moving to Los Angeles in 2016. After riding on the success of his featurette, 7, his film, Balloon went on to win over 40 awards in its first year in the festival circuit. This won him three "Best Director" Awards and eight "Best Film" Awards. Black Eyed Kids will be Mitchell's feature debut.
