Andre Carter(V)

Andre was raised in Troy, Michigan along with his two sisters, Neva and Jessica. At a young age he was very reserved and recluse in school but found great joy in entertaining his classmates by performing mock commercials at the end of the day. His 5th grade teacher, Mr. Shankin, nicknamed him the "commercial man". Andre also spent many hours alone with an old tape recorder, recording skits and anything else his imagination could come up with. He and sister Jessica would often tag team together on projects. They had a music band called the "Moonbeams" and would also create well-rehearsed skits. During most summers, he and friends would take a video camcorder and create movies. One of his most favorite pastimes was to mimic voices, especially video game voices. As an adult, he has been able to focus his skills in acting and voice into the field of voice-overs. He has done work with sports teams like the Red Wings, auto dealerships like Vyletel Buick, auto part companies such as Moog Auto, and production companies like Dark Spark. He hones his acting and voice skills wherever he can but attends various classes through The Actors Loft in Royal Oak, Michigan, under the tutelage of Hugh Gall, Charles Cirgenski and Tina Gloss. He continues to look for new opportunities to expand his abilities and exposure as he maintains his busy lifestyle of being a loving husband and father.
