Attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee to study musical theatre and was introduced to drag while performing in a theatre production of The Rocky Horror Show. Firkus also attended The Institute of Beauty and Wellness in 2014 but dropped out to compete in the 7th season of RuPaul's Drag Race.

As of 2019, Firkus is one of a small group of drag queens to reach 1 million or more followers on Instagram.
