Biography

    • Ethan Daniel Corbett is an award-winning actor and producer.

Recently, you can see Ethan all over the festival circuit in films like "The Blue Diamond", "The Alibi", "Greenbelt" and most notably "Faces" in which Ethan Won an Award for Best Supporting Actor at FilmQuest 2024.

He obtained a scholarship to study a BFA in Musical Theatre at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), one of the top Theatre Programs in the nation.

While at University, Ethan booked a Series Regular role in a Soap Opera called "Youthful Daze," in which he shined as the devoted Tommy Dinato. After the end of his work on "Youthful Daze," Ethan sought out to further develop his craft and studied at Second City, Chicago.

Shortly after, Ethan booked the role of Nico in the film "Blood," where he intimidated audiences with his powerful performance as the leader of a Neo-Nazi gang. "Blood" was featured in the short film gallery at Cannes Film Festival in 2018. This film led to many other roles for Ethan as the antagonist, like Wyatt L'hiver in Hulu's "Voodoo."

Ethan is now producing many films such as: Death & Life, Regression, and All The Mens Hangers.

Trivia

  • The role of Wyatt L'hiver in the Hulu film "Voodoo" was originally meant for an older actor between the ages of 50-70. Ethan still sent in a tape and changed the mind of the production team. Ethan was 28 years old at the time of shooting.
  • The role of Lou Ivanov almost didn't happen for Ethan. The production team lost Ethan's tape and thought he never sent in an audition. In fact, the production went through with a few callbacks and were a week away from the start of shooting. It was the director, Sergio Guerrero Garzafox, who remembered Ethan's reel and asked if he ever sent in a tape. Luckily, they scoured their files and found his tape. Sergio called Ethan in for a screen test. Hours later, Ethan was cast and his first day of filming was 4 days later. A beautiful role that almost never happened.
  • The dog in "Where We Went" is Ethan's real life dog, Locke.
