Podcast hosts Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing, together with their company JamPot Productions, are delighted to announce that their smash-hit podcast NewlyWeds will rebrand as NearlyParents from today - 9th June 2025, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter: parenthood.

With a fiercely loyal listenership, NewlyWeds (previously NearlyWeds) has chronicled the hilarious, heartfelt, and often chaotic early years of Jamie and Sophie’s marriage. Now, the couple are sharing their biggest news yet, they’re expecting their first child.

As the duo prepare to welcome a baby into their lives, their podcast will evolve with them. NearlyParents will deliver the same addictive mix of honesty, humour, and chemistry fans love, now with a fresh lens on pregnancy, family prep, and the beautiful, messy reality of becoming parents.

The rebrand will not come as a surprise to fans, who welcomed the news several days ago that the married pair are having a baby.

The podcast that started life as NearlyWeds then became NewlyWeds after they got married will now be titled NearlyParents, with Habboo expecting later this year. The first pod ep will drop tomorrow.

Exclusive: UTA has signed NewlyWeds duo Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo in all areas.

The LA-headquartered agency will represent the British TV, radio and pod hosts via its UK Creator practice with the support of UTA-owned Curtis Brown in specific areas. Last year, UTA signed Laing’s podcast network JamPot, which produces his and Habboo’s pods. The pair have left previous UK agency Ymu, which has experienced a great deal of change of late.

Laing and Habboo met on E4’s Made in Chelsea several years back. They left the show in 2021, married in 2023 and launched their successful podcast NewlyWeds, which came off the back of their NearlyWeds show. Other pods they have helmed include Habboo and Melissa Tatam’s Wednesdays and Great Company with Jamie Laing, both of which are made by JamPot. Calvin Harris revealed that his time DJing live is eventually going to come to an end.

The music producer-songwriter, who turned 40 in January, shared in a recent interview with U.K. radio station Capital Dance that he will likely stop DJing in approximately 10 years.

“I always said that once I get past 50, I can’t see me DJing, man,” the “This Is What You Came For” artist said. But host MistaJam was quick to point out that British DJ Carl Cox is still active, doing live performances at age 61.

“It’s a certain type of DJing. On the more commercial end, it gets a wee bit… a little bit suspect,” Harris quipped.

Though Harris has brought his music all around the world, headlining some of the biggest festivals including Coachella, he shared that once he moves away from DJing, he wants to turn his focus to the studio.
