Monika Leigh(I)

Monika Leigh was born in Denver CO, and raised in Houston TX. At the age of 12, she began writing and playing her own songs using a baby Gibson guitar. Soon thereafter, she began playing the drums, hand drums, piano, bass, and Ukulele. Over the years, she has been blessed to share her music with some other amazing artists. A few highlights of her music career have been:

• Being a contestant on season 5 of The Voice (Team Blake, then 'stolen' by Team Ceelo Green)
• Collaborating with Nappy Roots on a song called "Moonshine" produced by Tate Ignelzi, and a Scru Face Jean song called "Slow" produced by DoeDoe
• Co-staring in a Shawn Welling AXI Film for the song "Creep" by Radiohead and the very talented dancer who has been on "So You Think You Can Dance" and the Ed Sheeran music video "Don't"... Mr. Philip Chbeen
• Sponsored by Daisy Rock Guitars
• Opened for Robin Trower in Houston, TX as a teenager
• Shot a Todd Reynolds' music video for her original song: "I Just Want To Be Loved"
