Jennifer M. Kay is a writer, producer, director and actress who began acting in 2012. She realized quickly her passion was not only for acting but for the entire process from conceptualizing the idea through to producing the final product. Jennifer has starred in a number of feature length productions including Last Known Location, Certifiable Series and The Arrangement along side Eric Roberts, Deborah Twiss and Brian Anthony Wilson.
Jennifer's talent and screen presence has landed her the lead role in a number of independent films. She has acted in all genre's from comedy, to drama, to psychological thrillers. Jennifer has also spent some time working the improv theater scene in Philadelphia.
Jennifer learned how to navigate the independent film world in Philadelphia and completed her first feature film, tHe Stall, which was picked up for distribution by SGL Entertainment worldwide digitally and on DVD and Blu-Ray in March 2018. Jennifer's second comedy series, in which she wrote, directed and produced, "Certifiable" season 1 was released in 2020 and went on to win over 15 awards and take home over 25 nominations. Season 2 is in post production now.
Jennifer's success has led to many opportunities, she's served as a line producer, consulting producer, assistant director, production manager, wardrobe, and production coordinator on a number of productions. While Jennifer resides in Philadelphia she actively pursues acting opportunities in Atlanta, Los Angeles and New York. Jennifer has been nominated for several best actress awards and has taken four home for her comedy acting.
