Faith Zerby

Youngest daughter of, and frequently a willing sex partner to her father, David Berg during their years together in the sex cult called "The Children of God," (aka The Family of Love, The Family, and now The Family International.) She is a sister to Deborah Davis who left the cult early, in 1979, refusing to be part of the debauchery that her dad was commanding, such as mandatory child sexual and physical abuse, not to mention the demands Berg call for involving incestuous relations to take place between fathers and Mothers with their brothers and sisters and parents, and yes, even their own children, from newborns to toddlers to teens, even to their grown children. Faithy, as she is sometimes called, is also sister to Ricky Rodriguez, Berg's heir-apparent to the thrown after Berg passed away. Berg's wife, Karen Zerby was Ricky's biological mother, but Ricky's biological father was an unknown hotel staffer Zerby hooked by prostitution. Berg decided to raise the boy as his son but never officially adopted him. Ricky would leave the cult as soon as he was could, embittered at the shame, guilt and sexual abuse he had to endure in the name of Berg and Zerby's twisted sense of Christian love. On January 5th, Ricky would kill one of his former nannies, Angela Smith by stabbing her to death. He phoned his wife next and state that she (Angela) died claiming that she did not know what she had done wrong. Later, in Blythe, California, Ricky would kill himself by putting a gun to his right temple and pulling the trigger.
