Biography

Carl was born in Brooklyn, NY. He is the eldest of 2 children. His mother is actress Carolyn Grant and father is actor Nickelos Grant. His sister is actress Maya Lauren.

Carl found his acting roots while living in Baltimore, MD as an Electrical and Computer Engineering student at Morgan State University. His roommate, Joshua Wood, was a film major at Morgan State utilizing Carl in three short films, thus giving him the confidence to pursue acting. Carl made his theater debut in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream by Woodbrook Players as the role of Philostrate in Baltimore, MD.

Carl graduated from Morgan State University in 2012 moving to Fort Worth, TX a year later for a Software Engineering position with the Department of Defense. Since then, Carl has been venturing out to create a national presence for himself as an actor in film, theater, and voice acting.
