Biography

    • Mahogany Raspberry recognized her passion for entertaining at an early age. The Mobile, Alabama native started gracing audiences with her talents at the tender age of 21. Though her pursuit of happiness began in music, she quickly realized that the blues market circuit made her a big fish in a little pond and she set her sights on the adjacent city of dreams, Atlanta, GA. Upon her arrival, she took advantage of the many entertainment opportunities there and began modeling where she was introduced to acting and here is where she found her calling. She began hosting her own radio show, "Ms. Mo's Intimacy Talk Radio" endowing audiences with intimate conversations about life, culture, and current events. The show aired for a total of 4 years, after which she displayed her ever growing talent on the main stage of several regional plays. She continued on to make appearances in many other productions, TV shows, web series' and more. She has trained and studied with the likes of renowned director Marishka Phillips and decorated actor, director and producer Javon Johnson and continues to build her portfolio with many more coaches, co-star, actors and comedians such as Clifton Powell, Stevie Baggs Jr, and Genice Shelton. In 2022 she was nominated and awarded "Best Supporting Actress at the '' Atlanta Dcem Awards, and was even recognized for "Peace and Unity" amongst the African Americans and the Africans, officiated and crowned Queen of the Igbo Tribe as Queen Ngozi, the Igbo word for "blessings". Mahogany is best known for Martel Taylor's (In A Split Second) as Faith Robinson, and M Head Production (Can't Get Rite) as Grandma Dirty. She is definitely a force to be reckoned with.
