Ryan Murray(XXVIII)

Ryan Murray was born in Chandler, Arizona before moving to California at the age of two. Ryan began his journey into film after taking a Final Cut Pro editing summer course at his junior high school. He then went on to pursue editing all throughout high school before attending Vanguard University in Southern California until he switched to cinematography half in his junior year. Ryan won his first award as a sophomore in college after submitting his very first short film, Inner Demons (2013) at the Vanguard Film Festival. He continued on to win Best Cinematography at the 55 Arts Film Festival for the film Shift (2015). For his final thesis, Ryan created the film WAKE (2016) which went on to win Best Editor again and the Audience Choice Award in the Vanguard Film Festival. After graduated, Ryan has begun to build his own company, ThatFilmStudio, where he hopes to gather great talents in the film and photography world and source them out to people who may not have the resources to know where to look.
