Craig Foster AM is a highly distinguished former Australian soccer player. He had a successful professional playing career before becoming a prominent broadcaster and an influential human rights advocate. Craig Foster represented Australia at the junior level, playing in the first FIFA U-16 World Championship in China in 1985. He earned 29 caps for the senior Australian national team, the Socceroos, from 1996 to 2000, scoring 9 goals. After retiring from playing, Foster transitioned into a highly respected career as a football analyst and commentator for SBS (Special Broadcasting Service) for 18 years, becoming a beloved and knowledgeable voice in Australian football. He is now with Stan Sport Australia.
