It was the summer of 1973 when everything turned upside down for the Lawrence family in Harris County, Texas, as 15-year-old William Ray “Billy” Lawrence disappeared without a trace. As explored in HBO Max/ID’s ‘The Serial Killer’s Apprentice,’ it later came to light that he had actually been tortured, killed, and buried by a local serial killer as well as his two acquaintances. Therefore, of course, there was a lot of media and publicity around this whole ordeal, making us wonder more about who this victim really was, his experiences, and the aftermath of it all.

Based on Japanese folklore, the Thai monster movie Omukade is in post-production now, and Bloody Disgusting is exclusively debuting the wild trailer for the Yokai nightmare.
Pakphum Wongjinda and Chalit Krileadmongkon directed Omukade, which hasn’t yet been acquired for U.S. distribution. Watch the trailer below and stay tuned for more.
