Julian Maroun is one of Australia's most dynamic and in-demand actors, recognized for his versatility across television and film.

In 2024, Julian joined the ensemble cast of Ladies in Black, directed by Gracie Otto, playing Elias Khalil. He will next be seen starring opposite Richard Roxburgh in The Correspondent (2025).

Julian's recent screen credits include Total Control (ABC, 2024), The Secrets She Keeps (Paramount+, 2023), Year Of (STAN, 2023), and the Netflix animated feature Mia & Me (2023).

In early 2023, he starred alongside Sam Worthington in the STAN Original film Transfusion. He previously played Detective Darren Nasser in Home and Away (Seven Network) and was cast in FX's critically acclaimed Mr Inbetween, directed by Nash Edgerton.

Julian first gained industry recognition for his breakout performance as Farid in the STAN Original series Romper Stomper, which won Best Miniseries at the 2018 TV Week Logies. That same year, he starred as Corporal Peter Abboud in Foxtel/Sky UK's Fighting Season and appeared opposite Adam Bakri in Partho Sen Gupta's feature film Slam (2020).

His early television work includes a dual role as identical twins Haris and Amir in SBS's Deep Water (2016) opposite Noah Taylor and Yael Stone. He went on to appear in Cleverman (ABC, 2017), Janet King (ABC, 2017), Diary of an Uber Driver (2019), Harrow (2021), and the AACTA-nominated ABC comedy Aftertaste (2022), starring Rachael Griffiths and Erik Thomson.

With an ever-expanding body of work, Julian continues to establish himself as a compelling presence in Australian and international screen storytelling
