Candi Marie is a creative visionary whose star is rising and shining bright as one of the countries most dynamic new talents. She was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with focuses in Mass Communications, English, and Sociology. Throughout her career, she has hosted in TV/Radio broadcasts, Live Streaming, event MC, as well as being an actress and motivational speaker. Candi first got her start in Atlanta, GA working with The Steve Harvey Morning Show team, as the Promotions Director and Media Correspondent. She's had the opportunity to interview some of the biggest names in the industry such as Oprah, Steve Harvey, Magic Johnson, Usher, Smokey Robinson, Toni Braxton, Baby Face, Migos, Meagan Goode, Morris Chestnut, Regina Hall, Chris Tucker, Rick Ross, and many more! After almost 4 years, she left the company to move to LA to pursue her dreams of being an Actress and TV Host.
Although Candi enjoys success now, her path along the journey was less than ideal. Growing up in foster care half of her life, Candi always saw beyond her circumstance and passionately moved forward to succeed. Conquering those trials from her youth made her resilient and enabled Candice to soar higher than she could have ever imagined. Blessed with an amazing testimony of triumph in the face of astounding adversities; Candi's vision to empower, enlighten and inspire others to become positive catalysts for change encouraged her to launch a digital platform that is the alternative for negative media- #SweetCandor TV. As the CEO of #SweetCandorTV, Candi created opportunities for millennials to cultivate their craft all over the country as correspondents, editors, videographers, and writers. Over 30 youth from all over the country have volunteered and had the pleasure to work for this company. Candi's goal was to create opportunities for young people and give them a chance to follow their dreams.
After, being in business for 4 years, Candi decided to take a step back to refocus the business and change the direction. She is currently living in LA advocating for Foster Care and working hard to pursue her dreams as an Actress and TV Host.
