Simon Welch is a British filmmaker based in France since 1994. He attended a foundation art course at West Surrey College of Art and Design in Farnham (UK). then studied for a BA in Fine Art at Liverpool Polytechnic. He continued his studies at Strasbourg University in France where he obtained a PhD in visual arts, He began making short films in 2005.
