Florida Palmore

Florida Palmore is an American actor and comedian, born on October 20, 1982, in Bartow, Florida. The eldest of two on his mother's side and the fourth of his father's children, he was raised in Lakeland, Florida. From a young age, Florida knew he was destined to entertain, discovering his passion for performance at just six years old.

After graduating from Lakeland Senior High School, he moved to Dallas, Texas, to be closer to his mother and younger brother. In 2001, he joined the Drama Ministry at The Potter's House Dallas, led by Bishop T.D. Jakes, an experience that solidified his calling as an actor. Over the years, he honed his craft through stage plays, commercials, and short films.

In 2009, Florida expanded his talents into stand-up comedy, quickly proving to be a natural on stage. His comedic timing and dynamic presence earned him recognition, and in 2013, he made the move to Los Angeles to further his career. Though the entertainment capital offered opportunities, he ultimately chose to return to Dallas, where he continues to build his career while prioritizing his family.

Florida currently resides in Dallas, Texas, with his wife, Ashley Palmore, and their four children.
