For four seasons and 49 episodes, Melanie Scrofano played the title character in the Syfy TV series Wynonna Earp, which was based on the Image Comics / Idw Publishing comic book series of the same name. Now, she has a lead role in the upcoming Syfy TV series Revival, which is based on the Image Comics comic book series by Tim Seeley and Mike Norton, and Variety reports that she’s being joined in the cast by WWE star Cm Punk, as well as previously announced co-stars Romy Weltman (Backstage), David James Elliott (Jag), Andy McQueen (Outer Banks), and Steven Ogg (The Walking Dead).
Revival has the following synopsis: On one miraculous day in rural Wisconsin, the recently deceased suddenly rise from their graves. But this is no zombie story as the ‘revived’ appear and act just like they once were. When local officer and single mother Dana Cypress (Scrofano) is unexpectedly...

Syfy is bringing the comic book Revival to the small screen, we recently learned, and Variety reports today that pro wrestler Cm Punk (Girl on the Third Floor) has joined the cast.
Cm Punk is said to have joined “Revival” for a “recurring role.” Melanie Scrofano, Romy Weltman, David James Elliott, Steven Ogg, and Andy McQueen will also star.
“On one miraculous day in rural Wisconsin, the recently deceased suddenly rise from their graves. But this is no zombie story as the ‘revived’ appear and act just like they once were.
“When local officer and single mother Dana Cypress (Scrofano) is unexpectedly thrown into the center of a brutal murder mystery of her own, she’s left to make sense of the chaos amidst a town gripped by fear and confusion where everyone, alive or undead, is a suspect.”
From Blue Ice Pictures, the upcoming Revival TV series will be executive produced by Lance Samuels,...

The biggest threat that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has seen yet, Thanos, has a bevy of powerful children, but arguably the most dangerous member of the Black Order failed to be adapted for the movies. Anyone who has seen Infinity War and Endgame should be familiar with the likes of Ebony Maw, Proxima Midnight, Cull Obsidian, and the rest of the Black Order family comprised of Thanos' adopted children. All of them showcased varying but equally deadly levels of physical strength and power against the Avengers. Their downfalls proved that their efforts weren't enough, but they certainly gave the heroes a fight to remember.
However, the movies left out one member of the Children of Thanos from the comics - the mind-controlling villain Supergiant. Supergiant is an omnipath who can read and control the mind of any living being, and also boasts phasing powers that grant her immunity to physical harm.
