Lionsgate has debuted an official trailer for a fun-for-the-whole-family comedy titled Think Like a Dog, being released direct-to-vod starting in June this summer. A 12-year-old tech prodigy's "hear your thoughts" science experiment goes awry and he forges a telepathic connection with his best friend, his dog named Henry. The duo join forces and use their unique perspectives on life to comically overcome complications of family and school. Starring Gabriel Bateman as the boy, Todd Stashwick as the dog's voice, with Josh Duhamel, Megan Fox, Janet Montgomery, Madison Horcher, and Kunal Nayyar. I will watch anything that features any of the main cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It actually hasn’t covered too much lately but in the case of Charisma Carpenter it has meant that I have watched a whole lot of average horror movies. But her featuring in a lead role here wasn’t the only reason I wanted to watch Mail Order Monster.

Here, a young girl is having some issues with life. Primarily, a bully at school and her Dad’s new girlfriend. It seems that help might be at hand though when a comic she is reading advertises a ‘Mail Order Monster’, that could be the answer to her problems. Yes, it does sound super cheesy but for a family-friendly movie, it’s also pretty perfect.

It's the Halloween season and Mail Order Monster is serving up a cool, kid appropriate Frankenstein-esque drama which feels like a wondrous mesh of E.T. and The Iron Giant on Digital November 6.

After witnessing her mother's death 3 years ago with her best friend Pj in the car, 12 year old Sam Pepper has never been able to move on. Her reclusive nature and nerd table membership leaves Sam an easy target for bullying. Trauma and puberty cause Sam and Pj to not only grow apart but become rivals.

Pj bullies Sam through ostracizing and humiliating her in front of their classmates. As Sam watches the school laugh at her through the slits of her locker, she realizes she's had enough. Sam orders the parts to build a "Monster" from a comic book ad, and is finally able to give Pj a taste of her own medicine.

Finally, her life's changing for the better.

Film Mode Entertainment has debuted the first official trailer for a fun sci-fi indie comedy titled Mail Order Monster, which is the feature debut of producer-filmmaker Paulina Lagudi. The film is about a precocious young girl named Sam who is being bullied at school, and on top of that, her single father has just found a new girlfriend. To cope with her situation, she orders a a robot monster through the mail that promises to solve her problems. Hilarity ensues, and everyone learns some good lessons. Madison Horcher stars as Sam, and the cast includes Charisma Carpenter, Josh Hopkins, Emma Rayne Lyle, and Bill Billions. This looks like an amusing, good-for-all-ages fun time, and the robot monster looks so funky and goofy I can't help but smile whenever I see it. Check it out below. The 100th Disney Channel Original Movie, Adventures In Babysitting starring popular actresses and recording artists Sabrina Carpenter (“Girl Meets World”) and Sofia Carson (“Descendants”), premieres Friday, June 24 (8:00 p.m. Edt) on Disney Channel. The re-imagined tale of the popular 1980s film of the same name will be available one week in advance, Friday, June 17, to verified users on the Disney Channel app and via VOD. The premiere of “Adventures in Babysitting” will be ushered in by the “100th Dcom Celebration,” a nostalgic programming event across Disney Channel, the Disney Channel App and VOD featuring every Dcom ever made.

The “Adventures in Babysitting” premiere telecast is sponsored by Post Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles. It will be followed by the premiere of Disney Channel’s new comedy series “Bizaardvark.”
