Thiago Dadalt is a self-taught Brazilian filmmaker, crafting stories that are both emotionally gripping and socially impactful. Dedicated to amplifying marginalized voices, Thiago tackles critical issues such as autism, Alzheimer's, homelessness, gun safety, and the challenges of aging out of foster care with remarkable sensitivity and depth.
His breakout short film, "Duke" (2018), a powerful exploration of severe autism, earned Oscar qualification and garnered accolades at prestigious festivals. Likewise, his award-winning documentary "Where is Nancy?" (2020) follows the heartbreaking disappearance of a woman with Alzheimer's.
