Italian-American actor Ricky Vitucci is the first person in his family to pursue acting. Along with that, Ricky is the first person to graduate college (St. John's University) in his family.
He was born Richard Anthony Vitucci on July 6th, 1985, in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of Richard Robert Vitucci, a construction worker, and Maria Vitucci, an executive assistant. Ricky is the only child. Both Ricky's parents were born and raised in New York, where Maria and Richard fell in love, got married and had Ricky. Growing up, he excelled in football, baseball & bowling. Ricky graduated from St. John's University in 2008 with a B.S. in Entertainment Management.
Ricky experienced the death of many of his immediate family, including his father, three of his grandparents and his uncle, all before he graduated the 8th grade. This did not stop Ricky. He continued to play competitive sports, where he soon got invited to a professional tryout in 2010 but was not chosen. In 2011, he moved to LA to work in the entertainment industry. Ricky then worked for renowned studios like Sony, Paramount, & Fox. He also assisted Emmy award winning actor Joe Manganiello and music legend Randy Jackson.
In 2014 Ricky got scouted to audition for a Sony Playstation commercial for the world cup, which he then booked. After working a series of entertainment-related jobs, in 2016 he refocused his efforts on acting and started studying the Meisner Technique. He fell more deeply in love with the craft and has since booked over 20 roles. Ricky made his debut TV appearance on Fox's hit dating show "Love Connection" where his appearance caused a media sensation when he proposed to his date on camera. (She said yes, however the two are no longer engaged.)
Ricky loves meditation, fitness, traveling, the cinematic arts, playing sports, live music, cooking, reading and listening to Tony Robbins. He strives to learn and get better every day of his life. He has built a social media following of 17K+ on Instagram and loves interacting with his followers who find inspiration from his daily life and pursuit of his dreams.
