Her debut album "Split Personality" was set to be released on November 7, 2006, but was shelved due to unknown reasons. Most of the songs were later used for her 2014 mixtape called Westside. On July 2, 2019, the album was digitally released by Universal Music Group.

Auditioned for and starred as a dancer in Prince's "Diamonds and Pearls" video, released in 1991.

Her mother is of Spanish, Dominican, and Japanese descent, and her father is of Native American, African-American, and German-Jewish descent. Her maternal grandfather was of Japanese descent and her maternal grandmother is of Dominican heritage.
